Digital nomads and other professionals will gather at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel on Thursday, 8 October, for Nomads & Tapas. Registration is open to the public, including people outside the Lisbon Digital Nomads community.
The event takes place at the hotel’s Tapas & Tiles Bar and is organised in partnership with Lisbon Digital Nomads. It aims to bring together international professionals who live in Lisbon or are passing through the city.
An Informal Way to Make Contacts
The organisers want to welcome digital nomads, freelancers, entrepreneurs, creative workers and professionals from different fields and nationalities.
Rather than a traditional networking event, they plan an informal setting where participants can share experiences, make professional contacts and explore opportunities. The aim is to bring together people with different cultural backgrounds and career paths.
According to the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, events of this kind seek to connect local and international communities. The hotel says they also aim to encourage diversity, knowledge sharing and the city’s dynamism.
Tapas and Drinks Planned
Food will be part of the evening, with tapas inspired by Portuguese cooking. A selection of wines and beers is also planned, alongside a cocktail created for the occasion called The Nomad.
Participation is not limited to Lisbon Digital Nomads members. The event is open to anyone who wants to meet professionals from other countries, expand their network or get to know Lisbon’s international community.
